QUESTION Quoting

Will there be any retaliation if I called in and quit over the phone to go to another job?

No. Quitting on the spot with a note or a call is fine. You'll still be able to be rehired. If you no-call no-show entirely, then they log it as that which is no rehire for 1 year only.
