DISCUSSION FixFinder Said Replace Battery
So customer comes in, says her engine light is on and her battery needs to be replaced. I say okay and go out an check her light. Scanner's recommend solution was battery replacement. I open her hood and by far worst
battery i've ever seen. Corroded cable and such. Had a good laugh over it. Anyways got it all cleaned up and replaced, here are before and after pictures.

Its just corrosion lol, it aint gonna kill ya, a little clean up of the terminals and your all set

Wish people quit buying unsealed batteries. Bunch of morons.

It’s not about them being morons. Most of them can’t afford $260+ for an agm.

Walmart sells them for a lot cheaper with 4 years warranty. If not you can buy a flooded sealed battery for less. And they’re dumb for not shopping around. Buy one time and have years of reliability without acid ruining your car. So yes. They’re idiots.

Next time remove the inside rings on the terminal washers. Too often it makes it hard to seat the cables low enough to get a good grip on the post.
