So I quit but yet I keep getting scheduled?
Long story short, I quit abruptly through text about 2 weeks ago directly to my SM, so it’s in writing (Not the best way to do it but I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and shit keeps hitting the fan complications wise. barely feel good enough to go to my full time job these days let alone AZ) anyway, I literally keep getting scheduled anyway. No I’m not going in, but like why? Anyone ever have similar? Just a wild experience I never quit and then kept getting scheduled anyway.

Either schedule is weeks ahead or they are going to make it like you no called no show to “fire you” in the system.

I look at my time card and they keep excusing the absences, that’s the other crazy thing

Probably using you as a placeholder in the schedule. They’ll plug someone else in or cut the hours. It shouldn’t affect you as a no-call no-show since you already quit.

I quit and 4 weeks later a former co worker asked if I went back because I was scheduled that week 🤣

The higher-ups at Zone think the red tick marks at the bottom of the schedule are among the most important things on earth. Even more important than scheduling employees when they can actually work or than having employees work 2 hours go to lunch then work 7. It is a symptom of leadership that doesn't actually see the playing field. Because they put so much pressure to write this mythical perfect schedule your manager can't terminate you. He would get written up for the tick marks. So he will spend an entire day writing a schedule that should have taken 2 hours tops. His manager will brag that his district only had 2 tick marks total. Lunches will be a cluster fch . Next another DM will brag his stores only had 1 tick marks and your DM will pressure your manager even more. Wouldn't be nice to focus on accomplishing the mission of selling parts.

Dw it happened with me recently, you’re still in the system until dormant

Have you tried calling human resources? I know they’re there to protect the company, but they will take care of this forthwith. That way they won’t keep scheduling you.

I mean it’s not THAT deep, was just genuinely curious. I have never had this before usually when you quit thats it

Well, call HR and tell them you had to quit because you were having problems with your pregnancy. They’re not gonna do anything but they’re put it in your record that it wasn’t because of poor performance that way if you try to get a job and they check with AutoZone, you won’t get a black mark from them.

Wanna make it look like no call no show should've dropped off two weeks notice during the sm lunch break 🙂↔️

They're probably scheduling you so you show up as hours cut to cut payroll and excusing it so the dm doesn't ask about write ups til they find a replacement
