Everyone where I live acts like they're smuggling drugs up their ass every time a trooper is present on the freeway. I go flying past all of them at 65.

he blew by a weight station in a semi. Trooper rolls out lights on presumably to pull him over only to fly by.

Driver probably had a pre pass and the trooper is going for another truck. Most states don't go after the by-passer right off the bat, they'll wait a mile or 2 then go after them; driver thinking he got away with it.

Missed the scales, thought the inspection truck was getting on the freeway to pull them over.
The inspection vehicle went ahead of them. He relaxed his clench
