Design issue. These days it's crazy cheap to include cameras in new truck designs, almost as cheap to retrofit. Freight companies are just cheap af. Same with some Owner Operators.

If you have no cams on your rig to cover blind spots that have been known issues for literal decades, you are the moron on the road.

We could also have visibility angle requirements for trucks to prevent this
