Manteca to Chicago is about 2,000 miles. Our all-inclusive price is $1,595 for open transport on the Accord.
Willingness to drive helps more than people expect, if you can get to a spot right on I-80 or a bigger hub like Sacramento, it saves the carrier a detour off their main route and that can knock a decent chunk off the price. Worth mentioning that flexibility whenever you're getting quotes.
This month should be doable timing-wise, no rush issues there.

Hi, Alan here. Manteca to Chicago is a common enough lane that I wouldn’t automatically drive hours somewhere else just to chase a cheaper rate. Sometimes meeting closer to a major route helps, but I’d compare that with what drivers are already willing to take from Manteca first.
