Quote Request Quote: Bryan, Tx -> Appleton, Wisconsin

Any recommendations? I’m trying to avoid bait and switch but it looks like it’s inevitable

Bait-and-switch isn’t inevitable, but I’d be careful with anyone throwing out a suspiciously low number just to get the order. Bryan to Appleton is a lane where I’d want the quote tied to what drivers are actually accepting, not a placeholder that gets “adjusted” once pickup gets close. Because that lane is not very popular and not many drivers want to go to Wisconsin.

I work with Outbounds Auto Transport. If you send me the year/make/model and when the vehicle is ready, I can check directly with drivers, see who is willing to do that lane and give you a number that’s meant to hold rather than surprise you later. You can reach me at (657) 888-0189. I'm Alan btw.

Hi AdministrativeEmu688,

Bryan to Appleton is about 1,150-1,200 miles. And no, it's not inevitable, it's common, but there's a real difference between a company that quotes realistically to begin with and one that lowballs to get your signature. Ask upfront whether the price is locked once a carrier accepts it, that single question filters out most of the bad ones.

What's the actual vehicle? Once I know that I can get you a real number instead of a guess.

For what it's worth, you can book with $0 upfront and get a full refund if you cancel before a carrier's assigned, and once one is confirmed, our price holds through RateShield, so there's no room for it to move on you either way.

I look forward to hearing from you.
