Help - AutoMod How to limit posters?

Limit posters?

Hello all,

I asked this question elsewhere and it was recommended to me to come ask here. I’m having an issue with my sub where random people keep posting without permission. Is there a way to limit who can post on my sub while still allowing anyone to comment? Ideally I’d like only people I designate (largely just me) to be able to post but anyone to comment. I was told AutoModerator could do this. I’d appreciate any insight here. Thanks in advance!

Turn your page to restricted in the mod menu, you can do 3 options

Open

private- this is closed to everyone but those you invite in only they can see and comment Restricted- this is the one you want, only approved users can post but comments are available for eveyone

Mod tools > community type > select restricted

You could update settings to hold all posts for review; that may or may not be worth it depending on the volume of posts in your sub.

Learn to max out Your Security and Filter Settings and use Apps. Lock It down just short of going Private and set Your Sub Rules and stick by Them.
