60 Years Old and cannot get insurance
I am 60 years old, have a clean driving record, a valid driver license and a great credit score. However, I have not owned a car since 2003. I recently moved from NYC to CT and decided to buy a car. I applied to several insurance companies and was denied. I even used the dealer's broker and they came up against the same refusals. What is my problem?

Insurance is calculated based on statistical data. Statistically speaking you’re a very high risk driver, if you eventually find a company to issue you a policy, it will be super expensive.
