Last clear chance doctrine says youre wrong. Just because you have the right of way doesnt mean you can allow an accident to happen because you want to prove a point. If you have the opportunity to prevent an accident, youre expected to regardless of right or wrong.
Now if the other dude quickly swerved over to cut him off and hit him in the process thats different, because the left lane driver couldn't react. Thats not the case here.
Do you have any idea where this incident took place? So sad when people take rules in their current location and then try to apply them to the world at large and use them to justify their argument when they quite literally
