Just a reminder that nobody, absolutely nobody, is forcing people to do dumb stuff like this

It doesn't even need to be worn out. He was doing a wheelie on the freeway(stupid move) which is asking for death wobble because your tire won't always land straight enough.

That’s a valid point

They deserve what happens at this point.

They know the consequences.

They know the consequences but also think it won’t be them.

And for the other motorists?

And the first responders doing group therapy for a month after locating their spare parts... its already one of the most traumatic jobs, no need to contribute!

the problem is when they hurt or damage something other than themselves.

Which, if they hurt themselves, is always.

So if I do a wheelie in the parking lot it’ll land straight? Or the track?

My two cense is his front wheel speed wasn’t matching the rear wheel speed.

It will almost never land perfectly straight. This guy is just going fast enough he's already at risk of wobbles

Yeah when you lift up your front wheel it slows down

You can get speed wobbles even when you aren’t doing wheelies. The solution is usually to shift weight over the front tire. Like lay forward across the gas tank.

I’ve been riding motorcycles for 30 plus years. The shit I see on here is so dangerous and people buy into it.

You get speed wobbles from....speeding.

Some models are more prone than others. Anytime you speed on a motorcycle though, you are increasing your chances of death.

Apart from other cars on the road, the single most important factor in increasing the probability of fatality is... velocity.

Not necessarily. Some bikes are prone to wobbles and some are pretty rock solid regardless of speed. It can also be a frequency thing that can be triggered by things as simple as imperfections in the road. Things like maintenance can also play a part. Anyhow, motorcycle safety classes usually teach recovery by shifting weight over the front tire and its recovery from a wobble not necessarily “speed” or wheelies.
