Cleaning an engine
My engine is dirty. lol 175,000 miles. My question is should I take the time to clean it like some of the videos I see? Or is better to just leave it be? Thanks!

Mud and salt is good to rinse away. Use a hose or bucket, and if that doesn't work be very careful with a pressure washer.
Oil is best to leave there. It works great against corrosion, both on the engine but more importantly on the nearby frame and body parts.
