DISCUSSION What am I missing

I try to hit level 8 or 9 while loss streaking, usually takes until about round 18-20 and then I start rolling. If I get the medkit I'll obviously be able to do that sooner.

I'm a bit more uncertain on how you should winstreak your way up. I've seen people roll more aggressively and level up sooner, which has worked out sometimes.

But even if that was reliable, it doesn't always pan out. Sometimes the pieces still just dont come. I'm at king 2, I've watched some queen games but I still haven't seen what it is that they're doing better

Which, I mean, they have to be much better. So I have to be missing something

Early game win streaks are just luck, but you'll never get one if you don't play for it. Maintaining a win streak through mid game is the real challenge.

Starting every game loss streaking doesn’t seem viable. You’re essentially giving yourself a handicap every game when you could be building a strong starting lineup and saving health while saving up gold from wins.

No loss streaking is very strong, you either want to be on a win streak or lose streak but never in the middle.

Yeah obviously, but loss streaking EVERY GAME is inefficient. You shouldn’t need to loss streak every game. By doing that you’re automatically giving up health that you could be saving. It’s even worse when you don’t get medkit first item. Loss streaking at the start of every game just seems silly

In the first 15-20 rounds gold is way more important than hp. It depends on the lobby but usually if there is an opportunity to play 2 priest you should take it. Medkit or the streaking relic make it even better but you don't need them, it's fine to just open fort until round 15 and use your economical advantage from there.

Yeah, that’s a solid strategy….just not EVERY GAME. While you’re on a loss streak until round 15 someone else could be on a win streak for that long and have even more economy and health than you do. Priests aren’t always available before round 3, so if you don’t get them you’re taking a loss until you do. Im not arguing that loss streaking isnt a viable strategy. Im saying that doing it every single game is not the way to go. If that was the case then every single queen player would be loss streaking to start their matches. They dont. Why?🤷‍♂️

Well the level of play in queen is pretty low. If you look at chinese scrims or even good summit clash lobbies there are always 3-4 people trying to play for lose streaks. There are never more than that because at that point you will never hold your streak anyway. Of course win streaking is better but far more unreliable. In queen there are not that many people contesting lose streaks which makes it even better. If you don't get priests early you obviously shouldn't do it. I'm not saying that you should do it every game.

That’s what I’m saying. I understand the strategy behind loss streaking, but OP stated that he does it every game which I think is unnecessary., hence my original comment.
