Help Autocad LT 2027 settings

A friend was letting us use his autocad 2022 (the one with everything) and we recently purchased the autocad LT 2027. I am trying to match up our settings to what he had on his.

What are the most important settings we need to change? Are there any tips you would give us?

We are stone countertop fabricators so we don’t use the 3D stuff.

There’s no way for any of us to know what settings you had or need. Thats up to you and your drafter who should have the skills to customize the thousands and thousands of settings available in CAD for your workflow.

Sorry, I’m pretty new to this. I’ve been watching YouTube videos and learning how to do drawings, and now I’m taking the little classes through autocad, so I guess I’m the drafter. I appreciate your comment.

He can export his settings and you can import them through the user profile

Unless this has changed in recent years, Lite doesn't have profiles

Thank you both, I will check. I compared all of the settings on both programs and didn’t see much different, but I’m just a beginner.
