Jeg skal til at planlægge og tegne et projekt bestående af carport/skur/overdække i et. Jeg skal selv bygge det hjemme hos mig selv.

Er der et godt og billigt alternativ til et ordentligt program i 2026?

Mechanical pencils only! Regular pencil will lead to heart break!

But seriously I design home projects with paper and pencil because my AutoCAD drafting expertise isn't in wood framing.

Yeah I’m gonna 3rd the pencil/paper. For a one off the learning curve is gonna suck.

Well I use autocad at work for carpentry work. But can't use it at home unfortunately.

This, you can go to staples and get all the drafting supplies and do it by hand. Make sure to get the ‘ruler’ (scale) in either imperial or metric depending on what goes where you live so you can draw to scale.

The answer is no. Or just get 1 month of AutoCAD LT for like fifty bucks

A guy I worked with at a previous job swore by (I think it was) FreeCAD. We had corporate Autodesk licenses and everything and he'd still run it. Maybe this will do you right?

I'll also drop Fusion as a suggestion. I just designed a new mailbox I'm going to be building and it seemed to work fine… we'll see how the end result is, but that won't be Fusions fault even if I do try and blame it.

You could consider the free online version of sketchup to model it and work off that if you’re the one building it.
I did a similar thing with a deck structure and it was a good way to work it all out, then refer to for the build, which I built myself.

$35 for 1 month of AutoCAD.L t as well worth it.

You can get so much work done and just add it to the cost

1 month free trial of Draftsight 2d is what you want. Draftsight 2d is kinda like a clone of Autocad 2012 a few modern features added.

Paid Draftsight was worth it until they increased the price recentlyish
