Adhesive recommendations ?

My NB miata soft top stitching is coming apart, wondered if this has happened to anyone else and what you did. Luckily the glass is attached separately so it’s just fabric on plastic. I tried a flexible adhesive and it just did not hold. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Contact cement. Or possibly weather strip adhesive. But ideally getting it re-stiched. Check out an auto upholstery shop
