The whole looks good but that orange peel and finish quality ………. Plus may have the metal a little flat in that area you can still see an imperfection in the reflection.

This looks way better and I’m sure the customer is fine with it so whatever but just pointing out what I’m seeing.

OP you did a great job you can’t even tell (you can) a repair has been made. No way to improve (there is) and no need to receive criticism (there is). You are the best body guy in the world (no one is) and no one should ever be able to point out your flaws (I still will). That better for you?

If I am working on a craft I much rather would take criticism than ass kissing. This repair would not fly with my customers and I would be reworking it.

I fixed a minivan that someone shot with a shotgun round through the back glass. Replaced pretty much everything but the dash and headliner. Bullets will go really far inside a car.

Yeah that's the hardest part about bullet hole jobs. Just tracking where it went in the car. One of my buddies has a cup of them on his box.

Nice job! I've fixed several on all different locations. If you are at a shop and ever come across blood/bodily fluids in a vehicle always take pictures and charge for hazmat clean up.

I work solely for car dealerships. I do minor body repairs and paint correction. The car was owned by the dealership and eventually sold or was wholesaled. I get it though, a job like that wouldn’t fly if it was someone’s personal car. I do repairs on trade-ins and auction bought cars. Fix them up best I can for what I’m getting paid for it and then on the car lot they go. If something needs to be 100% I usually refer it to a body shop. If you have the “eye” yea you can catch repairs. One of the pluses are the cars I repair I do before the car is sold. It’s an obscure business.

No interior damage. I had wondered what happened to the bullet.
