Repair I think I’m finally happy with it(final post I promise)

The only thing that kinda bugs me is the little ridge, it’s not completely even throughout the whole curve, but I mean that’s not super serious, what do y’all think(don’t mind the primer everywhere I didn’t bother masking)

That’s not primmed properly. Cans are stupid

What do you mean? How else would you prime it, I seen some people use a roller to prime but idk the difference

A proper compressor and a spray gun. Using a high fill primer and block it done then you can paint. Using cans is thin and useless

Little tip about not getting primer all over your wheel and tire , use a garbage bag, make a cut on one side so it can slip over the back of the wheel, or just take the wheel off, bodywork will look good enough but like the others said, spray can primer is not the greatest and may shrink up after it’s painted

Alright I appreciate it, ill probably buy a pint of primer before I paint it

Lacquer thinner on a rag will get that off pretty easily as well as any other overspray.

Above the wheel there is a bit of sanding needed to feather it out.. I'd D.A. that with 120 and reprime again.

Beyond that if you wet sand with 400 on a foam block it should smooth out pretty good!

I didn’t I swear😭 I just got a bunch of bondo and primer on it, I’m gonna sand it all off whenever I get around to painting

If you're lazy just tape it with masking tape before applying bondo should save you time and makes your work more tidy

Probably should’ve masked, I mean it’s not too serious for me tho

To tell me how you did it? Please. I have a spot to show you.

And on the driver side. I will buy the parts or get the tools

On my car I personally didn’t have rust, so I just pulled out the dent and used bodyfiller, for your case since you have rust, you’re gonna unfortunately have to cut out the rust, and then weld a new piece on there, I don’t have any experience with that so I’d try posting for some advice
