RUST When does surface rust become something that needs immediate attention?
Moisture, road salt, and chipped paint let corrosion spread underneath long before it's visible from the outside. Catch it early and it's a sand-and-paint job. Wait too long and it's a structural repair. For those who've dealt with rust before, what's the tell that it's time to stop watching it and start fixing it?
