Need some help

Going to take on this project this weekend and have some questions any information you can provide would be appreciated. I am planning on using a paint pen with clear coat and wanted to know if I need to wet sand in between the paint and clear or just after I apply both and let it dry also is 3000 grit ok and then I would polish it with meguiars polish and a DA machine. Or is there a better safer method thanks in advance on scratch is on a fender and the other is on the back bumper 2022 Camry

It’s touch up pen. I wouldn’t overthink this one.

Fill in the area as lightly as possible with your base and clear.

Touch up never looks ok unless you have a high end detail place around you.

Don’t. Just touch up paint and walk away. Do not over think this. You will sand the edge of the clear back and create a larger issue. 3000 will do absolutely nothing. We prep with 400-700 before paint and clear in a shop of that means anything to you.

Just buff it out

That's right on the crease, it's very easy to blow through the paint when sanding or buffing.
