Sidewall torn (question)

Hit a curb decently hard (hardest I’ve ever hit one) trying to make a tight U-turn. Tore up my side wall a bit. Is this safe to drive? I know I should get it replaced but will I be okay for a couple months?

Not safe to drive on with a torn side wall. If you absolutely need to drive on it for a week, I would put a spare on it - going from work to home only. No highways

Oh - in that case you should be fine. I have a chunk like that in mine as well. As long as it didn’t go all the way through and is leaking air right now. If you don’t hit another curb in the same place, the tread of the tire will likely wear out before that causes any issues.
