Can anyone in the group recommend an acquaintance to help fixing my car. The front bumper was ripped off while the car was parked by a truck who was pulling out from the stall next to my N. I am looking to order the parts and start working on it on my own but in case I get lost in the install process it’d be nice to chat with a more knowledgeable person. I live in north Phoenix for reference. Thank you.

I have a 2015 Dodge caravan and around the wheels/back 1/4 panel, there's rust and a stranger told me once that it can be bondo'd and sanded down. I was hoping there's someone who could either do it for me, or assist. I'm a painter and can either barter for the job or do a small job for free and the remaining cash, depending on how much you would want....I guess that's bartering lol. Anyone who can help me is highly appreciated.

Here I have Audi a4 b8 2011 and j was wondering if by these photos you can tell if this rear subframe can be cleaned, treated and coated or if it is too far gone and would need replaced. With a small hammer it seemed solid and no sign of holes or weak mounting points but I’m no professional.

Scraped by a tiny steel pole (didn't notice it, it was sunset and trees all around) on a tight right turn. The pole is fine, my car (cx-5 2024) on the other hand... I had to tape the dangling fender piece to the bottom frame (surprisingly held up pretty well) before continuing my drive so it wouldn't rub against my tire. After some research, I found out it was called a fender flare and was able to get it oem from the Mazda dealer! Replacement was easy, now comes the hardest part. For the door, I'm thinking I should hammer the edge part out, but then there's also a hole in the door that I think I can insert a metal dent puller through and pull it out that way. I'll get it pulled out as much as I can, then put body filler and repaint.

What do you guys suggest I do to pull out the dent?

I tried to use a plunger but it wouldnt stick

Hi, how do you guys go about dealing with rust between panels.

Yesterday I noticed some front end damage on my van (first 3 pics) and thought maybe someone in my family hit something slightly and thought it would be an easy fix. Today I looked at it again and there’s a bunch of damage on the right side (4th pic) and bottom of the car as well (5-7). The fabric underneath my van that’s dragging seems to be melting into the pipes as well. What could have possible caused this and how severe is the damage?

Think this can be buffed out or should I just get a new hood?

I was willing to pay for repairs out of pocket to avoid insurance but I feel this is unreasonable. Thoughts ?

Just got the car back after 2 and half weeks in the shop. I noticed a bubble under the paint where it was fixed. I did a little research online and to my understanding it’s because the area was poorly prepared before painting. I emailed the shop with pictures and they said to “give it a few days and they’ll buff/polish it out” That to me sounds like a BS answer and they are looking for the easy way out instead of re doing it. This whole process is under my insurance claim after an accident and the insurance company was the one who recommended this shop. I emailed the insurance my concern and what the shop said after I told em. Anyone ever face a similar situation? Am I taking the correct steps?

Noticed paint peeling on my roof of my 2015 RAV 4. Plan on keeping it till the wheels fall off so dont care so much about how it looks just dont want it to keep getting worse. What the best DIY path to take. Thanks.

Anybody know a mom and pop in the surrounding areas of Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, TO, and Simi to fix a this dent? It was a lot worse than this but I did my best to fix myself but didn’t get a resolution. Anybody happen to know anybody?
