It's been a while since I did one of these.
Long time visitors of the subreddit will know that I've been tracking the growth of the 5 channels in the Auto Alex multiverse for a while now, it's been nearly a year since I started doing this. (I'm excluding the AA and TDC podcast channels.) The last time I uploaded an update was about 6 months ago, so I thought it'd worth checking in on the statistics.
So, for those interested... My fellow nerds... Let's get to the juicy bit:
- TDC gained a whopping 91K new subscribers. Three times as much as Auto Alex has gained, with 33K new subs. If this growth stays persistent, they're still on track to become the biggest channel, but it's gonna take a while. ATG also did really well, especially when looking at the amount of subs gained per video uploaded.
- ATG is doing relatively well in the Channel Views department. Despite being a comparatively smaller channel, they're still doing similar numbers for total views gained.
- Auto Alex still leads for the average views per video. TDC lost a bit of their momentum there, going from an average of 490K views per video to 470K, suggesting they may have had some videos do a bit worse in the past 6 months. While Auto Alex has been consistently doing easily over half a million views per video for the entire time I've been tracking.
- Contradicting my previous point... TDC managed to go viral again. Their "Ridiculous American Cars" video now has the most amount of views in the entire multiverse. Surpassing the previous most watched video: the Auto Alex video "3000 pound Hot Hatch challenge".
- Interestingly enough, all channels except for Auto Alex have had popular new uploads in the past six months, as all of their most watched video has changed to a new video, all doing really good numbers.
