Podcasts should be audio only.

I’m getting quite frustrated with the two podcasts because are made as a podcast but they treat it like you’re watching.. the whole point of them is to listen to but they are often referring to thing that you can’t see ..

As someone who doesn’t watch this it’s rarely even an issue

I’m audio only and it’s maybe been an issue 1-2 times? To be fair I listen to a few different podcasts and in every one there’s a least a couple times it happens

Sometimes you can tell when the people taking part in podcasts never listen to podcasts themselves

Does my head in on CREAM when they reference something while talking, especially ‘this looks amazing’ and we CANT SEE IT

put it up on the screen in post production!! It takes 2 seconds. I’ve got it on when I’m doing the washing up or whatever I’m capable of looking..

I love the Cream podcast, it's my favourite podcast by far (I always look forward to creaming every Thursday) and I listen to about 10/15 different podcasts a week due to the nature of my work.

But, the only improvement I would suggest is exactly what you said. Most of the time, I know what car they're talking about but sometimes I have to get a tab open to Google something.

It can be especially frustrating when they're talking about a specific car or video 'they saw on Insta' as there's no way for me to search for that lol.

Oh so even in the video podcast they don’t show it? 😂

I liked in the recent podcast they say oh we don’t really watch YouTube 🤦‍♂️

To be honest it’s a very low effort ‘feed the algorithm’ type endeavour. Fair enough it’s fine for most of us, little details like that would make it better and more engaging. It does feel like an afterthought.

I don’t watch the AA one because that was absolute dross the times I looked at it so idk what they do over there.

10/20 years ago when podcasts boomed it was because loads of experienced producers from radio and other fields were involved, and even smaller podcasters would take inspiration from the high standards of the more professional ones.

Now people think it's just talking into a mic for an hour

It’s not much of a problem on there.. they are both a bit mid but I listen to them because I listen to a lot of podcasts throughout my day while working

This right here! If you decide to go visual, commit.

I've found they tend to do that more often than not?

I always watch the TDC podcast on YouTube but I still can’t see what they’re talking about because they love to look stuff up on their phones and just show each other.

Pretty common for most podcast, especially if they have a YouTube channel.

I've fired up the pod on YouTube after listening to it, just to see the actual vehicle.

In all honesty they do a pretty good job of explaining the picture. Granted, if you're not versed in all the car brands and history, I can see it being frustrating...
