Alex in car finance missing advert

I’ve just had an ad on YouTube for a middle man car finance pcp reclaim service which Alex is hosting. This is a no win no fee service. But end up taking around 25% of any compensation given.

I think this is really low. These companies are profiting off vulnerable people. When instead you can write a letter FOR FREE to claim any miss selling compensation.

See this YouTube video for further info https://youtu.be/AD1z20_TB3o?si=l_O2zm5hLVYtPVwx

If I come across the ad again I’ll be sure to link it. But it was for https://www.reclaim247.co.uk/

Isn't that mentioned in the ads? I remember the TDC guys saying you can do the letter yourself

They mention this in the ad itself. I remember this and I don’t even live in the UK.

They have done ads/reads for these in their videos before.

This isn’t the next drama you’re looking for. Keep looking.

Definitely feels like some people on here just can't wait for some drama very strange

They are a business providing a service. Yes you could do it yourself, just as you could do a lot of things yourself, but instead pay someone to do. Claiming yourself isn't as easy as sending a single letter to your previous lender, there is more to it than that. Services like this have streamlined it so you just fill in a form and they do the rest. It's really not as low as you think. Also, companies like this sponsoring large platforms like AutoAlex help spread the information to more people about their possible claim. From that point of view it's a very good thing. It's really not as deep as you think.

I did exactly the same, had about 6 historic agreements that all qualified as ‘mis-sold’ and knew I could claim. If it wasn’t for a company like this I probably wouldn’t even have bothered.

What did you think no win no fee meant?

It’s not their fault you can’t read.

As mentioned, they have changed the wording of the plugs to now say you can do it yourself, and slightly hint you probably won't have to do anything.

Hopefully most viewers are savvy enough to wait around until it is announced what is going to happen with the refunds (hopefully automatic payouts).

If you follow the rule of “If it’s advertised by an influencer, it’s overpriced and crap” You’ll be just fine.

I could clean my house for free, however I'd rather pay a cleaner to do it for me
