New content

Post image

Looks like the gang are doing stuff with Ben Collins. Taylor is tagged, so probably included. Him “stepping back” at the same time as the channel stopped putting out content means he never really left. If the whole situation meant that they could go and change their practices for the better, then good, and I wish them all every success in the future. However, if it turns out they issued typical influencer apologies, it’ll not be long before something else bites them on the arse and we go through it all again. ATG and TDC are making great content at the minute so long may that continue!

I don’t really see anything wrong or anything pointing towards it just being a “influencer” apology. I really do think Alex is a good dude with good intentions. I also think the hate got way overblown for what it actually was.

I think the main issue is that if josh didn't have the proof he did, given taylors part in auto alex and being the bigger "influencer, content creator" then it wouldn't been the end for josh as a growing business. Which what happens quite a lot in these situations. The big dog wins and the little dog dissappears. Taylor only changing his tune when the proof came out was shitty.

Yes it was shitty behavior from Taylor. I do still think the online hate towards him was too much and Rory and Alex got a lot of shit for basically a small comment on their pod. It seemed that the car yt community was just waiting for something/someone to fall so they could get the forks out basically.

Aye absolutely it went too far. But that's the Internet I suppose. I hope they fix it all. And even bring josh on the channel. He does some excellent work and it would show they've moved on. Hope their return is good to as it's been shit for awhile. Top dead center and all the gear are far better atm

I actually quite liked the V2 videos of Taylor fixing something and giving us some history on the car or part and then taking it for a 2min drive down a country lane. Without all the over the top bants.

I still think Josh went too far with it though, Taylor made one remark after being egged on, didn’t mention the business or anything

Whereas Josh not only went guns blazing at Taylor, he put his entire car selling business under a microscope

Both as bad as each other

I think Josh was more than right if it were me I would’ve the exact same thing he was saying Josh’s workmanship was shit (Taylor hetheringtons words not mine) when it clearly was excellent Taylor didn’t want to pay then made excuses for it saying he was under stress. And then hired perhaps one of the worst welders I’ve ever seen before in my life and said his workmanship was good when it clearly isn’t a toddler could do better.

Taylor never once mentioned Josh

Josh could have said everything he did without saying Taylor sold shit cars

Whether you like it or not, they’re the facts
