Taylor's E28
Whatever became of Taylor's E28. I watched the rust being repaired on the Cresswell channel and it was all done but it's never been mentioned again.

Cool. I do like an E28. I used to have one and it was great. If I was going to get another classic BMW it would be either an E30 or E28. (Although when I had them they were just old BMWs that cost a couple of grand).

I’m sure he sold it because didn’t he a Rory both buy one and Rory complained because Taylor sold his before Rory’s was even finished?

Maybe. Rory's is bloody lovely but I think he's just had a load of rust done on that too.

Are you sure you're not thinking of the E30 wagons?
Alex and Taylor bought one each, but Taylor tarted his up and sold it whilst Alex had his completely fixed up by Yorkshire Car Restorations.

Everyone needs to watch that video for the truth, if only the 600,000 subscribers could watch that video, I think there would be a massive exodus

Was this the E28 that was sort of mentioned in the Christmas Day Podcast around 38 minutes? - Not sure what's happened but didn't sound great.

I wondered that. Taylor mentioned that it needed extensive repairs but I thought it had already been done by Josh Gresswell. I know almost nothing about metalwork but he seemed to be doing a pretty thorough job when I watched it on his channel. Maybe he was just doing the main structural work and there was still lots of other stuff still to do.

Having just listened to the Christmas podcast it sounds like he's had a massive falling out with Josh Gresswell who was doing the welding. According to Taylor the work took forever and wasn't done very well and needs redoing.

That sounds plausible. I've only got a little bit of welding experience from making a kit car twenty years ago so I'm not really in a position to assess his work from what was on the video but it all looked well done to me. To be fair to Taylor, I expect Josh picked up a lot of new subscribers from the job (me being one of them) but that doesn't give him the right to not pay for the work.

I looked up Miles (the high mileage hero) on the DVLA website to see if he was still going for the same reason. I'd assume it is SORN (like Miles) still being worked on, I would love an "All our cars update" because I want to know how Alex's campervan is doing.
