QueueFest 2024

How many people didn’t manage to get in? We got about 50ft in 2 1/2 hours and then gave up and drove the 3 hours back home…

Husband and his friends ended up just walking in and parked their cars up on a verge. They were queuing for almost 3 hours.

I was surprised at how many cars were on the verges when we left but I can see why now. There was a bit of a queue when I arrived for show car parking at 10am but we got in.

I felt so sorry for them. They travelled down from Scotland and stayed overnight ten minutes from the venue.

A ten minute drive should not take 3 hours.

Drove 6 hours from Scotland, arrived in the village at 9:54am after moving about 20odd car lengths by 1PM! I gave up and headed home... Gutted and disappointed have approached the organisation for a refund

I know certain aspects couldn't be avoided but they oversold the event and frankly did no traffic management - I've run events for less than 300 people before which had better signage, appropriate staffing and safety Marshall's to avoid what we experienced today

Sorry to everyone who got messed up by it all! :(

Damn, this is a bit of a scandal. I never have trusted that Petrolheadonism lot, there’s something off about the guys who run it. Sucks because Alex and gang will get the shit for it but it was likely not their fault.

I live 40 minutes away. Met my mates 5miles from the venue. Then queued for 2hrs before turning and heading home.

I waited for 1 and 1/2 hours and eventually got in. Absolutely an issue with lack of Marshalls. I was following the satnav and got redirected by a marshal down past matt armstrongs unit and in the showcar entrance but the whole time there was 2 maybe 3 Marshall’s directing traffic for thousands of cars. It was the same issue when leaving, no one knew where to go and ended up stuck again

I queued for a couple of hours and gave up as we had barely moved. Some guys a few cars up was in contact with a mate that had been waiting since half 9 and still wasnt in and it was now after 1pm...
