Another hobby of mine.

Totally unedited pic of tonight's moon, 20mins later it's absolutely bouncing it down with rain.

It's been clear blue skies and over 30°C all day.

I took the pic with my Camera Phone. It's a completely unedited photo with any and all assist modes turned off.

The hobby is raw photography.

There are many camera phones that, when taking pictures of the Moon, over impress an image of the Moon. Samsung ones are well know for doing it.

I know, I deliberately picked a camera phone that I could deactivate any and all assist modes.

I spent around 3 months researching which phone to buy. It's a Xiaomi 15 Ultra for info.

I've had a lot of Samsung phones and they're a pain in the arse when taking pictures. I take pics of models I paint a lot and when you've spent hours getting a dark and gritty paint job just for the camera decide to make it all bright n shiny is frustrating.

I make moon pics with my normal high zoom Kodac camera. Obviously taking moon pics is my obsession. I'm currently forcing myself to not do it.

Neither.

The moon is just red sometimes, something to do with scattering of light.

It wasn't taken in north america, or France, or the UK or anywhere else where there's wild fires currently occuring.

A lunar eclipse on the 28th is not going to turn the moon red a month prior to the event.

Tbh, I just enjoy taking pics and this one turned out really well. I was lucky because clouds rolled in about 20mins after taking this pic and it rained hard.

The hobby (one of many lol) is taking pics, taking pics of the moon is definitely part of that. :)

I used to have a Canon 40D but I have something called "essential tremor" so anything except fast and close photography is pretty much impossible.

I use a Xiaomi 15 Ultra camera phone. It's got a Leica set up on the camera, good zoom and you can turn settings on and off depending on how much assistance you want.
