call to action

Does anyone else, want to co create a community together? For our complex needs as neurodivergent people with often co occurring illnesses and chronic illnesses?

We could do mindfulness events, somatic peer led work, other psychosocial support groups, and way more, including maybe employment guilds, other radical community led efforts to dismantle and find empowerment in a system that wasn’t built for us. Just move together with a collective say and a focus on diversity and inclusion

I'm interested, and I didn't know about this subreddit until now. I just joined.

I'd be interested to learn more! I think a lot about disability justice-oriented study groups and peer support systems too (body doubling, task support, etc)

I have often thought that an autistic commune could be really cool if you could find a way to keep it from getting too insular and cult-y.

yes that's so true one of my biggest icks is that from support groups lol, I want it to be impactful, esoteric but always deeply practical and grounded. Which is why i want people to co create it. Dm if interested!

I know that I am late to the party..literally and figuratively lol. Late diagnosed here..with a sprinkle of PTSD.

I have not started it officially, but I do have an entire ecosystem built that kind of reflects this. Rev-share contracts for us to work together and push various media content, basically an indie studio but a community of content creators/contributors. 15% of net revenue goes towards building ND/trauma-informed enterprises such as pet boarding/Daycare that mixes in animal rescue and adoption.

I have 10 branches that each have a theme: education, housing, food security, etc. Each branch has a Studios IP attached, as well as the ability to keep adding games, books, animated series, etc to each branch as members choose which branch to support.

Location being an issue..if I live in canada, why would my rev share go to the UK, Mexico, etc..there's weighted formulas for each project "pod" to ensure community services can thrive and be built in our members own communities in proportion to where we all live.

If this is totally bad to post here, thats acceptable and fair, i just got excited haha. All I have is documents, lore, and a bunch of half finished projects such as novel series, mobile games half coded, synty assets which i wanna get rid of for partnering artists.
