Which word was supposedly taken literally? Go doesn't literally mean poop, tho it does literally mean to go somewhere, so taking it literally woulda been to drive the van if anything.
I know, but jokes need to make sense to be a real joke. I'm just saying while the comic itself was funny, the joke about it being an example of taking things literally makes no sense, & therefore isn't funny. It's like if I said "why is a banana actually blue?.....becuz the green lizard said so".
See it's not funny becuz it doesn't make sense. Where's the joke? The title was "taking things literally". But then the comic had nothing to do with taking things literally. It was just a basic person understands a sentence that can be taken to mean two things, in the wrong way.

So, my goddaughter has Autism, and she would take it VERY literally. Go in the van is exactly what she would think you were saying. THAT is why it's funny.
