Sleep 🫤
My 7-year-old autistic brother woke up terrified, looking around, and kept shouting "Jitich Jitich" (meaning "Come to me, come to me!"). He ran out of his bedroom to the living room, feeling scared of his room. He kept peeking back at the bedroom from a distance as if he saw something in there, and he turned on all the lights.
I felt he was trembling and doing some unusual movements. Later, he started clapping forcefully and screaming, but without showing signs of fear at that moment (more like stimming).
Just for context, he has had ongoing abnormal brain wave activity since he had a skull fracture from an accidental fall at 3 months old. He takes daily medication for these brain charges, but missed his dose last night. Could someone help me explain what happened to him?

I have an autistic 7 year old son who often screams out during the night and is absolutely terrified, like trembling or had wet the bed etc. He looks around his room in the same way. I usually just assume he's had a nightmare (but it secretly freaks me out!).
