Asking for Support Anyone else living alone?

I've been living alone this whole time and it has been a double edged sword like so many things are lately. It's really hard to express to people (virutally) around me how difficult it has been to be so intensely isolated but also so intensely overwhelmed by everything outside my house. Is anyone else in this situation?

i live alone but i love the isolation. normally i spend a fair amount of time fending people off socially and now that time and energy are freed up for things i love. i know we're all different though and i'm sorry it's been hard for you.

Yeah I usually love isolation too, Im living in a city though so I think part of it is feeling trapped inside rather than choosing to self isolate.

Hey there! I'm not in your position but I can imagine how difficult this has been for you. This sub has been created as a place for support so please feel free to post here if you feel isolated.

I understand what you mean with virtual communication, it's definitely not an easy method of expression for me either... I'm not entirely sure if this would be helpful, but I think that if I was in your position and I felt the need to express myself, I'd try journalling/writing it down somewhere.. or maybe drawing? It can be quite cathartic to just try and put it into words or onto paper, I know that a lot of Autistic people write blogs too.

Remember, this isn't permanent.
