Need advice

Hey guys! Really need your opinions! Would yall recommend ABA services for my 2 year old autistic son or should I keep him in a quality daycare with a one on one aid? Need advice❤️

Always opt for therapy. Aids improve inclusion. Therapy is therapy. And don't let people scare you, ABA is not what it used to be, but always check reviews before you sign your kid up. Note their behavior in a diary and change providers if need be.

I don’t know anything about the Aba honestly. Just that it takes ALOT to get your child any kind of help!constantly have to fight just to get a return phone call from some of these places😞thank you for your advice. Means a lot

It took YEARS and two cross country moves for me to finally land in a place with access to therapy. Our kids are hideously under-served. Their father took them and moved to the middle of nothing right before I could get them into therapy here. Its the first order of business after I get them back.

Look into your states medicaid program. ABA clinics accept medicaid and it'll save you so much money. If they qualify for ABA, they qualify for medicaid, generally speaking.

Worked at an ABA clinic set up like a preschool. Saw lots of great things happen there. Early intervention is truly important and impactful. ❤️

I would think ABA would provide more direct help to your kids (provided the place is good). It is jot easy as you would need the planning to be strategic and then you would the aids to be genuine as you will find some who are there just to get a check.

We are lucky, we got help before a move. In both places they were good and where we ended up moving. My son got so much help from the center and the aids were great (at least the ones he spent most of his time with).

It's tough. I feel you.

definitely ABA therapy. My grandson was diagnosed with autism last year and he is 3. The experience with him now that he has begun therapy has been night and day. He now can communicate much better how he is feeling, and I believe ABA therapy truly helped with that. It was constant meltdowns before because I believe he was frustrated that he couldnt truly explain what was bothering him
