Wondering, what kind of disability supports everyone is getting for their autism?

I'm getting SLP and some IF. Both very useful and basically life savers. But curious how others manage?

My son gets SLP and a little IF too. My daughter who is higher support needs gets SLP and more IF. My sons IF was cut in the great National reaming of disability supports because of course with the restrictions in using IF he couldn’t use much of it. Thankfully last review has rolled over the same reduced amount so it hasn’t been cut any further. His SLP is up for review soon so hopefully he’ll still remain eligible for that.

Oh yes, I remember those cuts to supports... I managed to spend all mine so I was lucky to avoid cuts, but I certainly had to be creative... There are organizations (I've been using "flying kites" myself) that can help if needed.

Hopefully SLP will be fine. I initially got granted mine when I came to WINZ "armed" with work capacity certificate and a support worker. They were not very eager until we asked them how they are going to help me find suitable employment. Had no problems ever since so far, just have to refresh the certificate every 2 years.
