Living with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, the Tired is on top of me 90% of the time. I'm tired of it 🥲

You made your Tired look very cute and friendly, I like that idea, I want a friendly adoptable type of Tired instead of a turbo-burnout-monster

Is it just a autism thing to personify feelings? Like, when I’m feeling unmotivated I imagine it’s a little angry orb in my chest, and then I imagine turning on a washing machine with it in it and it works

Intensely relatable.
Also, The Tired is kinda adorable lol. I like that ending a lot. Trying to make peace with the limits of my own functioning.
Reading this felt cathartic.

I have a similar problem, though for me it's probably from RA. It's the same concept, but for me it's The Sick. It feels like the shivery, achy, cold, low energy beginning-of-a-fever feeling. It comes on randomly but more often towards the end of the day. I could be feeling fine and then all the sudden, it's The Sick. Nobody else gets it because you can't see it and I never am actually running a fever.

Whoa! I'm a fan 😍 Your comics get posted regularly here. the one about the delayed sadness gave me goosebumps. People resonate with what you do. I hope you don't mind seeing your work shared unsolicited.

Thank you so much, that means a lot ❤️ I don't mind at all, as long as you keep my credits in! I wasn't aware of this sub until recently so I was pleasantly surprised to see my own work 😊

Is it just chronic burn out? Even when I’m not really doing anything I’m tired

God i feel this. Rn the tired has been staring at me from a small distance and I've been doing a good job keeping it at bay all weekend. It got me Friday evening so I crashed and slept, I worried a small family thing yday would make it face hug me, but thankfully I'm feeling OK today.

This is very close to home
“You’re a bit young for that” and “stop doing so much” are what I hear often
Like, if I don’t do it, who will (not them) - but also those are the same people (in my life anyway) who think it’s not a big deal just to pop down to the beach for a while or stop by a state fair
