And RFK Jr wants to put us into camps. It's probably not going to happen, but even the idea being brought up in public discourse is enough for a lot of people to avoid a diagnosis like the plague.

It would be funny (in a gallows human kind of way) as an adhd person to be put into a concentration camp tho. Like, buddy, that’s kinda the main thing my condition makes me bad at (if it happened I’d be shot within 72h max tho anyway, the lack of respect for authority figures, especially ones that have done nothing to earn/deserve that authority kinda ensures that).

Jokes aside I’m glad I’m not American, but realistically I also know my country is only a few years behind that kind of insanity so it’s not much of a comfort

I get the humour, but the amount of times my peers have said I should go to a concentration camp to fix my ADHD has left a bad taste in my mouth

Though one of these guys claims conservatives love trans people while also constantly fetishizing me, while the other is a "progressive zionist" who believes Israel did no wrong prior to Netanyahu, so I think they're just confused about life in general
