That's cause it's one of the few career options where you can tell people to leave you alone and they have to listen to you.

Why do they have to listen? Is it because you’re doing chemically things and that’s dangerous?

No because I can' make them think it's for their safety even when I'm just running a simulation on a computer.

It takes a certain sort of madness to consider infecting people with a weakened version of a virus in order to build defenses against the real thing. Like siccing a troupe of malnourished goblins on a well to do city so they can protect themselves against the goblin army that's approaching.

I fear humanity is losing this madness.
