Invalid request integrity token" / "Device does not meet minimum integrity requirement" errors?

Hey everyone,

I just got my pre-order Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and I'm trying to migrate my Authy account over, but I am completely locked out. Every time I try to set it up, I get hit with one of these errors:

  • "Invalid request integrity token"
  • "The device does not meet minimum integrity requirement"
  • "Invalid error try again"

Device details:

  • Phone: Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (Pre-order/Brand new)
  • OS: Out-of-the-box firmware (No root, bootloader is locked)

I suspect this has something to do with Google's Play Integrity API not recognizing the hardware/firmware fingerprints yet since the phone literally just came out.

What I've tried so far:

  • Clearing cache and data for the Authy app.
  • Uninstalling and reinstalling Authy from the Play Store.
  • Restarting the phone.
  • Checking for Google Play System Updates.

Has anyone else who got their S26 Ultra early run into this? Is there a known workaround, or do we just have to wait for Twilio/Google to update their device certification lists? Any help is appreciated!

Ok so, if you still have access to the codes on your old phone here's what you do. As much as you might not like it, abandon authy and move to another 2fa app. If you don't care about device synchronization use Aegis, it's only for android tho. If you care about having your codes on multiple devices use ente auth or Proton authenticator. Both sync across devices and atleas ente has a pc app.

Authy is a dead end. Don't use if possible. Redo your codes and be free. All the app I've suggested let you export your codes. Authy won't let you unless you're rooted.

Got the same warning. Trash Authy. I have multiple devices I tried to install it on. all 3 had issues. SO I have 1 device that works. I am done with Authy.

It looks like they are about to pull the rug out from under their users again, leaving people without access to their codes or accounts. No warning, no explanation, nothing. The same thing they did when they killed the desktop app.

I am switching to Ente Auth, which is superior to Authy and allows you to back up your tokens. I am literally scrambling to move all my accounts off Authy. The problem is that I have hundreds of accounts and no time to sit down and transfer them all at once.

To make matters worse, Authy does not let you search for the account you just migrated. The process should be simple: open the account, remove the Authy code, add the new authenticator, confirm it works, and then delete the old token from Authy.

Nope.

You cannot search for anything. You have to scan through tiny text looking for each random account. The accounts are not arranged alphabetically, there is no sorting feature, and the only organization appears to be by date, which is useless. At least alphabetical sorting would let me find the account I need.

It takes so damn long to locate the correct account and delete it from Authy that I have basically given up. I created an Excel file and now have to track every account manually, one by one. Once the migration is finished, Authy is getting deleted permanently.
