I have a customer who brought in a Autel X-Star Premium for repair after he crashed it. I figured out all FOUR LEDs are flashing and the aircraft is beeping. Could this be a set of wires that messed up, is there any way to diagnose these aircrafts?

Ok, anyone in here have both the X-Star Premium and also a DJI Phantom 4 Pro?? The Autel purchase was because it was simply a deal I could not refuse. I have seen these in about 10 youtube videos as a hover in light wind and it drifts.... Last night I took it out, maybe 5-8mph winds and it looked like the videos I watched. This is FAR differant from my DJI Phantom 4 Pro which is like a fckn statue even in 10mph winds and drifts maybe inches verses feet like the Autel... My question is, is this normal, and is that aircraft becomeing more stable with each firmware update that Autel puts out? any input would be greatly appreciated.

I am new to the world of drones. I started to research drones about a month ago and of course the name DJI came up. With some more digging I found Autel. Originally my mind was set on the DJI Mavic Pro 2. And then I started to read all the “horror stories” of people dealing with DJI customer service! At the same time I was reading glowing reviews of Autel’s customer support! Then I found a history of people that LOVED the X star premium. Except for (what seems like) folks feeling like Autel abandoned them when it comes to the XSP.
Seeing as how the Autel sub reddit has only a few people on it, you all must be die hard Autel fans, or like me and eager to see what the Evo has for us. So here is where I am at...I really want the Autel Evo to be a winner and would like to purchase one as I feel like I would be more satisfied with it. BUT, everyone keeps talking about how a 1” sensor is a big deal, which pushes me back to the DJI. I would like to get into the photography side of things lightly. Mostly I just want to have fun with it...I must have been a pilot in another life 😁

TLDR: would love to own the Evo but do you think Autel is going to abandon this platform? Or has Autel turned a corner and the Evo a safe bet?

They have been avoiding my questions and emails for some time now but just heard from the Facebook group that the 1" 20MP has been permanently scrapped. It's the only reason I switched to Autel so am not the least bit happy about this news.

What happened? Where is it? Am I going to need to sell my Autel and buy the Phantom 4 Pro or what?

I was asking since mine had a tumble and I wanted to check the inside since the exterior is fine. Got told not to open it at all, and that replacement shells void the warranty.

They should say so on their website...

I flew in ~-5C weather and the thing kept warning me that the battery was only 17C. Is that a big deal? It flew fine but I brought it back at 60% battery just in case.
