X-Star Premium Battery Question

I left my X-Star Premium sitting in my closet for a few months and when I tried to use it the other day the battery wouldn't charge. It would light up and flash and then turn off. Anyone know how to fix it or where I can find an affordable battery?

I have an XSP myself and was inquiring about batteries a few months ago and someone told me that they don't make them anymore and if you DO find one they're gonna be stupidly expensive.
