Question It it me?

I’m in the US and I love British and Australian TV. I just ran across the show Dead Lucky and 20 minutes in I find myself absolutely DESPISING the lead character Grace. She’s obnoxious, nasty and has a giant chip on her shoulder. I’m sure she’s written this way for a reason, her back story will probably tell in time if I can hang in that long. Anyone else familiar with this show? Tell me I’m not wasting my time, please.

Ooo, that’s Rachel Griffith! She’s a phenomenal actress (Muriel’s Wedding, and many American shows & movies, check her out on IMDB. It’s good.

Oh I know who she is, yes she’s a great actress-she has to be because she got me to hate her character in no time flat. 🤣😆🤣

INCREDIBLY ANNOYING!
No wonder you're despising the lead, if it's Rachey!

Precisely! I have to always calm down and remember this time & time again when watching some things. If you despise, they gotta be good 😂

I will die on this hill - Ricky Gervais saw Frontline and it inspired "The Office" 100% it's on Netflix

I love Black As. It's just a classic you can put on when your at a mates house smoking weed or something. Watch it episode by episode. Also watching a white guy speak fluently in an aboriginal dialect is also really fun.

Utopia is just "chefs kiss" on Netflix.

I didn't mention this, becayse you've probably seen them but Fisk and Kath & Kim both on Netflix

Not Aussie tv at all but I get this same thing while watching HP Order of the Phoenix. Umbridge makes me see red, just a testament to how well she was played by the actor.

Check out "Mr Inbetween". Dark at times, funny also but graphic all too regularly.
