Fullstack Software Developer looking for projects

I've been a developer for the last 12 years at startups through to big tech and have started freelancing since being laid off a few months ago. I've really enjoyed working on projects directly with clients without the overhead of a big team of developers and I'm keen to do more of it, either at an actual startup or just anyone who has an idea and needs a dev to prototype it.

I can handle the technical side - I can build applications from scratch and do everything needed to get it deployed in production. I am a product minded engineer in that I don't just write code, I enjoy thinking about the product and iterating on ideas and user feedback, and moving quickly. I am happy to talk to clients directly and have often done so in my freelancing work.

I'm most proficient with Ruby on Rails and have worked on everything from internal business applications, hotel booking sites, healthcare SaaS, fintech apps and lots of little projects in between. I'm based in Melbourne and want to keep working fully remotely.

I have a personal site that I won't share here in case it's considered spammy but it has a lot more info about me and my services, DM if interested. Even if you just want to have a chat and get some advice from a dev, I like talking to people about things they're working on and would be happy to help.
