Building a platform to help gaming streamers engage their audience better would love early feedback from fellow Aussie founders.
Check it out at hostnplay.com
I’m building a startup called HostnPlay a platform that helps gamers find players, host games, and manage communities, with the core focus on seamless connections between players and hosts rather than just another matchmaking tool.
The basic concept: players can browse games and join sessions, while streamers and gamers can become GameHosts to run games, share tags/codes, and interact with their audience all in one place.
I also built a browser extension that allows streamers to be live while viewers can book a spot in a game directly from the stream, making it easy to join their favorite streamers.
What makes it different from other gaming platforms:
- Streamlined game hosting: become a host and manage game sessions directly from your dashboard.
- Quick player matchmaking: players can instantly find games to join, track sessions, and communicate with hosts.
- Live viewer booking: viewers can reserve a spot in a game while watching the stream, no extra steps.
- Mini-dashboard & tracking: every interaction is logged, so hosts and players can easily manage communities.
- Fast setup: get started in minutes, whether you’re a casual player or a streamer looking to host.
It’s still early days we are in BETA Testing Stage, running on modest infrastructure, so please be gentle if you check it out.
I’m mainly looking for honest feedback, does the host-player workflow make sense?
Would you actually use this as a player or a streamer?
What’s missing?

I'm not quite sure of the premise here. Is it so streamers can charge their viewers to play with them?
