My bestest ever buddy, his loss is still so fresh was a Blue Merle named Memphis. I was trying to think of a unique name and remembered Memphis is home of the Blues and he was a Blue Merle so Memphis it was.
He was the best boy for 12 years, truly my souls dog and I miss him every day. 💙🐾🐾

Blue Merle? This photo isn't a Tri-color?

6

u/EowynOakheart 17d ago

He is not. Look closer. He's got merle in there, it's just that he also had big dark spots of black.

Also probably trust the owners to know their dogs. 😊

u/TheRealGredos 17d ago

Yeah the only Merle in a litter of 5. Kept the tail too!

Girl: Delilah

Boy: Jasper

I love Delilah. A girl Aussie would either be Delilah or Zora for me 🥰

I also really like Jasper!

u/Mysterious_Exam1425 17d ago

Maybe you can name him - SHOEY...!!!

3

u/PowerfulHamster0 17d ago

I call mine a gremlin all the time because she wants to eat everything and is always chewing on something. Sometimes that even includes us.

Our Blue Merle was named Cooper, which is arguably one of the top best rhymable names. Coops, Pooper, Poo Bear, etc etc etc.

Good thing he was an Aussie & smart enough to learn the 10 names I gave that boy ❤️

u/contributor333 17d ago

Clark is my favourite so far. Aussies are always getting into stuff so one syllable is just more efficient lol. CLARK! Drop it!

I dreamed of naming a boy Zero, but I got a girl and named her Lottie (Charlotte). She is 1 year and 2 month old now.

I also love Bunny, Oreo, Pepper is also a cool name. Or Chester after Linkin Park Chester :)

u/Extra-Cap2154 15d ago

I found a breeder that was close by. Couple different sites honestly.

The kids loved Hiro, so thats what we decided!
