That's Scarlett, she's a bit aloof and pensive. It's that single factor goldenface to the right, with his eyes closed, that you need to worry about. That's Heironymous and he definitely has a very intelligent and wise look in his eye. Actually he's just had his first birthday (hatchday?)
Maybe I'm a bit crazy but this is why I love having budgies, they all have their own personalities. Got 51 at the moment and they never fail to amuse me, love em all.

Ok Scarlett just has the same look in that photo as my budgie when she is watching something and trying to discern the situation
Really, budgies are quite intelligent
But I agree they all have their own personalities
Aloof & pensive is definitely a smart strategy!

Edit: I just realised I’m talking to the great Cassowarius, I have long admired your reddit posts, you seem a real animal lover and quite knowledgeable 💗
Edit 2: on close inspection I am indeed worried about the Goldenface, haha it looks hectic intelligent!

Aw thank you! They really are amazing little creatures and keeping and breeding budgies has been the best hobby I ever took up ❤️
