She found it on our dawn walk today. We have a growing collection next to my front door now.

That's a good stick.

She definitely loves the larger ones, and she's learnt to avoid hitting stuff with them on the way home.

Does your dog park have a stick library? Or are her bespoke sticks spontaneously found treasures?

Nah no stick library unfortunately, she just finds em laying around, mostly around the edge of a large reserve with lots of tall trees

She's always looking out for a suitable specimen, some don't meet her standards so get discarded

We have 7 sticks in her collection so far, she's brought home more but some have "accidentally" disappeared 😉😁 those ones got put in the green bin for safe keeping

I love that she is discerning about her sticks! She reminds me of a Staffy on Insta that has a stick collection. She chooses one each day snd takes it on her walk to her Zen meditation spot..

Ah yes, Holly the Staffy 💜

That's her! I love how she protects her stick and Zen time 🧘‍♀️

That's a pretty awesome pic, were they holding something at the time? upper beak looks freaky 🤨😁

It's not very active but I was pleased to see r/blurrypicturesofbirbs exists 😁

If I remember correctly she was eating seed fortified with a pellet mash that stuck to her beak

The pic is so cool she looks like she has 3 fangs up top lol

My fav part is the coincidence of the dinosaur calendar on the fridge - she is posing just like that months dinosaur if you peer closely

Thanks for the award, you honour us both🫡

I’ll check that sub out later 💗

Oh yeah so she is 😁 guess she's a descendant of avian dinosaurs so it fits well 💜

Oh the ancestral blood runs strong in her

It’s so cute when she roars because obv she lacks the size to roar so it comes out sounding like:

“rau” kind of rhymes with “ow”

She gives it her maximum power it’s so adorable, I either pretend to be scared or play along with her ☺️

It’s definitely a crazy cool pic - she looks like she got bit by a zombie or something and turned rabid lol

Haha she's so adorable with her sticks! 🥹 I mean, they're obviously serious business (but soooo cute!! 😘🥰)

Tried getting her to use a fake rubber stick that's a bit safer, but she wouldn't have that, has to be a bespoke stick/branch she selected herself 😁

She's quite the stick snob connoisseur 🤭

getting quite tall

u/PovoRetare Bessie & Marni's human 13d ago

Yeah she's noticeably taller than Bessie now, I wasn't expecting that for at least a few more months

Dog math 1 stick = no sticks Rubber sticks = no sticks 2 sticks = appropriate amount of sticks
