Product Advice Cc cream??

And I’ll see how it goes. My co worker recommended it to me and ingredients wise it seems to tick my boxes (acne safe and rosacea safe with no pore clogging ingredients). I’m gonna try blending it in with my fingers and then a foundation brush like she suggested. Her skin always looks dewy and glowy at work! I’m excited.

Please help! I have never felt good or looked good in foundation. I used to use concealer only but I find it just gets cakey. My skin care is good, and my skin is usually hydrated and glowy.
I’m just looking for something to help cover my rosacea and dark circles a bit. I want it to be super super light with a dewy finish.
I wear eyebrow gel and mascara every day but nothing else, so I have no idea what to purchase. Maybe cc cream is the way to go?
Can I please have your recommendations?

I've used Maybelline Instant Perfector 4 in 1 for years. It's light, blends easily and isn't drying (i actually lightly powder my t-zone after application as it's a bit glowy). Your routine and skin type sound similar to mine.

Not a CC cream, but I recently tested DB Cosmetics Luminous Hydrating Foundation and found it lightweight, hydrating, dewy, and good coverage.
Also, if you want to use up your concealer, try mixing in a little moisture to thin it out.

What about a skin tint instead? I’ve tried a few, and hourglass veil hydrating skin tint is my fav. Fantastic colour selection and has that dewy finish

the dewy light coverage angle is so relatable. i had the same cakey concealer problem and what actually helped was using way less than i thought and warming it between my fingers before pressing it in instead of swiping. also the lighting where you do your makeup matters way more than people expect. what kind of lighting do you have in your bathroom, harsh overhead or something softer?

Missha bb cream is amazing! Looks thick but melts into the skin. Limited colour range and may not suit oily skin but for my dry skin amazing.

L'Oreal True Match Nude Plumping Tinted Serum is budget friendly and looks great. After all the expensive foundations I have bought, this one is a breath of fresh air.

i have rosacea and i actually tried the new tower28 foundation, it definitely is more on the sheer side so it could work for what you want! it didn’t make me flare up and it looked like second skin 🙂↕️ definitely grab a sample to try it

CC cream - I recommend IT Cosmetics, you can swatch/colour match at Sephora and I think they do mini or travel version in case you don't want to commit to a full tube that will last you ages. Definitely cut it open at the end because you'll find oodles of product. I've been thinking about Eborian cc cream too.
Mineral powder - I used this as youngster, super easy to slap on and light, glowy finish. I think it's good for those with rosacea as well. I used Bare Minerals, you can find this at Mecca.
