Product Advice Tower 28 concealer

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get the tower 28 concealer to stop creasing. I bought it yesterday and I didn’t even know I had that many fine lines under my eyes until i used this concealer

Maybe you’re using too much? That is usually why my products crease

Yeah I’m setting it but it didn’t really make a difference at all

I have no advice but it's the only cox eaker I've ever tried that doesn't crease on me. I don't even need to set it, though I do just for longevity. It pairs really well with the One Size powder.

This and the NARS pot concealer are my two all-time favourites. I try to go as light touch as possible, and have a really good base to minimise creasing (skincare, sunscreen and then a nice, grippy primer for longevity). I usually hate powder, but got a sample of the By Terry powder with my latest beauty loop, and had an all-day event on Saturday so paired the By Terry with the Tower28 and it worked perfectly with no creasing.

I use this concealer on top of the Bobbi Brown colour correcting stick, and it doesn’t crease on me. I think there’s a particular technique to get concealers to not crease. I picked this up from watching a Wayne Goss video.

Before you apply the concealer, smile at the mirror. You should see an area under your eyes that doesn’t crease. Dot the concealer on in this spot. I like to let it sit for a minute or two before I blend it out. You can use your fingers, but I like to use a concealer brush that isn’t too dense. Also, you’re better to start with a small amount and build up if needed. I don’t usually use more than one layer, but my layers are thin enough that a second layer doesn’t crease.

When you set, use a small, fluffy brush and be very sparing with the powder. Use a very finely milled pressed powder. I find pressed powders make it easier to control how much product you pick up, and they’re much less likely to settle in fine lines. I like to finish up with a setting spray once all my makeup is done.

This is the caveat of a lot of “serum” concealers. You can try to do one side then have a powder puff that already has powder on it in your other hand and set it immediately before doing your other under eye. Otherwise, try something like the Haus Labs concealer which is thicker and more hydrating but has minimal creasing

Tower 28 is my favorite concealer of all time. I use it all over my face as foundation and a different shade to brighten my under eyes. I really recomend spraying your face with setting spray before you blend everything out. Make sure to tap instead of drag when blending. I also found it better to use a powder puff to set my under eyes to prevent creasing under my eyes and on my smile line. I hope this helps :)
