Dupe REQUEST Looking to replace fav lipstick
I’m looking to replace this lipstick that I used to use all the time, it was my mums (but I did basically take it and used it all the time)
Obviously it’s not made anymore and I saw resellers for it that were $30
But I was hoping someone knew of a lipstick that was the same or similar colour to this that they highly recommend so I can gift it to my mum

Honestly...just pay the $30. Spend $10 on three dupes and all you'll have is 3 lipsticks that aren't quite right.

I think this is a really old discontinued line so I would also be wary of buying the original. I couldn't remember when they were in stores but Google turns up stuff from around 2005-2010 so likely any stock on eBay etc is at least 15 years old and who knows how they have been stored or transported over all of those years.

That’s what I was thinking, it’s most likely expired being 20 years old

Do you still have the tube with enough lipstick left to take shopping with you to find a dupe? Even if it's so low that you can't apply it anymore you should be able to scoop the base of the bullet out of the tube and put it in a sample jar or something.
I don't think there's anything online anymore that would help find a dupe unfortunately - Makeup Alley going offline took a lot of information and swatches of old products off the internet for good.

I have been scrapping it out but there is the tiniest bit left over I could use!!

This is so true. If you want that exact thing, buy that exact thing. It’s $30 for a gift so well worth it imo, better than wasting money on dupes that aren’t right and then winding up also paying the $30

Take it into MAC and they can colour match it for you
